Julian's Newborn Session

I am soo honored that my clients come all the way from Scarsdale, NY to have their newborn session photographed. I was highly recommended to them by their friends who also had their newborns photographed by me.

During the booking process, they stylized their session by selecting warm neutrals and blues for their baby. They also gave me carte Blanche for their session, which I was excited for.

I started the session with parent poses and changed up my routine by using a grey backdrop instead of my usual warm beige. And I loved how my clients just adapted to my selection and wore grey clothing to compliment their portraits.

After patent pictures were done, I set up the next part of the session to prep for prop shots. Their baby Julian soundly fell asleep as I wrapped him for my flokati and bowl shots. I was extremely happy that I was able to capture him in a moon bowl placed against a moon/starry blue backdrop. The pictures came out really nice.

After a couple of images taken with props, Julian was due for a feeding and just needed to be next to his mama. As I saw that he was awake, I set up my next round of pictures for awake shots. I had a couple of outfits for his parents to choose from and he wore a cream knit full body romper for his pictures. I took pictures of him laying on a beige blanket of him awake and taking it all in.

At close to 6 weeks old, Julian's newborn session came out beautifully.

Bradley's Newborn Session

I was soo excited when Bradley’s mom told me that she was expecting. I photographed their first baby in 2019 and was honored to be able to photograph Bradley a few years later.

Since they were expecting a boy this year, I was pretty amped up to use alot of blues and neutral colors.

I first photographed family pictures so that their oldest can run around after and the parents can relax. Their oldest did great and loved the fact that she brought her Blues Clues stuffie with her and be part of the pictures. I’m sure that when she gets older, she’ll look at these pictures and feel nostalgia for her stuffed toy.

i was also happy that I got to photograph Abby with her brother for their sibling photos. She was happy to be in the pictures and gave her baby brother some kisses.

After the family and sibling pictures were done, I got my props out so that I can photograph Bradley in them. I used my flokati rug, heart bowl, bed and regular round bowl with different types of backdrops. After about 2 hours of taking pictures, Bradley needed a feeding.

After Bradley was settled, I put Bradley in an cute little outfit and took pictures of him on the beanbag/blanket.

Charlotte's Cake Smash

I am really fortunate when my clients return to me to capture their photo shoots. I’ve been photographing Charlotte’s family since her mom was expecting with Charlotte and wanted a Maternity Session. Now a year has passed and Charlotte is now 1 years old. So I was soo excited when her mom requested an Alice in Wonderland themed cake smash. Alice in wonderland is such a classic story that can be seen from all ages (kids and adults) that will never be dated.

When Charlotte’s mom requsted that theme, I provided a few Alice in Wonderland backdrops for her to choose from and she picked one that is taking place outside with a pink chair and table. Once she chose her backdrop, all i needed to do for the cake smash was to print out a couple of Alice in Wonderland cut outs and I also placed a few playing deck cards to match the theme. For Charlotte’s first birthday pictures, Charlotte’s mom wanted to use a Unicorn rainbow themed drop that I previously used for those pictures.

On the day of the cake smash, Charlotte’s mom dressed Charlotte in a beautiful off white/cream lace dress and it was gorgeous. She was photographed alone and with a few of her Unicorn stuffies, which are the sie of Charlotte!!

Then we got a few pictures of Charlotte dressed as the Queen of Hearts and then she dressed up as Alice for her smash. When she was next to her cake, all she wanted to do was play with the frosting. She started to get into the cake and started to eat it. After a few minutes, she fell asleep on top of the cake and that was that.

Overall she had a great time being photographed alone and with her stuffies and played with some cake. Her parents are thrilled with their pictures and I am always happy with work with them.

Noah's Newborn Photo Shoot

Noah had his newborn session scheduled at around 1 months old and he did amazingly. I chose alot of neutral colors (warm tans and medium blues) to stylize his photo shoot. Even though those colors are pretty basic, they compliment every skin tone and can be paired with any type of prop.

I first photographed Noah’s mom and grandmother and they were ESTATIC! You can see it on their parent poses. When his mother said that he smiles for every picture, I didn’t realize that he actually smiles the whole time. It was beautiful.

Then I photographed Noah in props and he looked soo angelic. I love using bonnets and wraps because they keep the babies content while maintaining that classic look to their images.

After props, I photographed Noah for his blanket pose and even though he was slightly awake, the eye contact and his smiles were soo precious.

Even though newborn sessions are traditionally photographed between when babies are between 5-14 days old, photographing babies when they’ve gotten at 1 months old is such an amazing experience and love the types of pictures that I can capture at that age.

Victoria's Newborn Photo Session

Victoria’s mom reached out to me to photograph her baby that was born. My earliest availability at that time was a month in advance and she took that time slot. So I was very excited to photograph Victoria at the age of 2 months old.

When Victoria’s mom chose her photo session color palette of blues and neutrals, I was looking forward to photographing her baby in blue since pink and peach are colors usually chosen by most moms.

We first started the session with photographing her family first and then sibling shots and both types of pictures came out nicely. Then I photographed Victoria in different types of props and she looked soo pretty in them. Even though she was wide awake for her entire session, she was such a happy baby taking everything in.

Lastly I photographed Victoria in a baby blue lace romper and a pretty headband. She looked soo pretty!!

Even though photographing babies at 2 months old wont get you those traditional newborn poses, it was such a great photo shoot just capturing Victoria’s personality and the entire family.

Kristina's Maternity Photo Shoot

I’m always excited when my clients book me for in advance for their maternity session because it allows us to style the session as much as possible. Kristina booked me for both her maternity and newborn sessions and it was such a great experience to work with her.

For Kristina’s maternity photo shoot, she chose her location at Snug Harbor and chose two dresses to be photographed in. Her dresses was a Black dress with a sweetheart neckline and chiffon layers at the bottom and her second dress was a blue dress with a sweetheart neckline with a slightly sheer chiffon material at the knees with a long train. Both dresses looked beautifully on her!

I always have a great time photographing at Snug Harbor Cultural Center because you can get different looks at one location. The first half of the photo shoot, Kristina was photographed in the black chiffon dress and she looked amazing posing by herself and with her fiancé. Then she changed into the blue dress and she was soo pretty in that color. Both dresses really made a statement for her photos and she rocked her session.
