Newborn Baby Boy

I had another newborn baby boy in my studio and I was exctied to photograph their family and his newborn photos.

Mom wanted her session to have warm neutrals, green and blues incorported into her session and I was excited to use all of those colors together. For their family session, I used a creamy pecan backdrop, which is perfect to coordinate with any color. I photographed her immediate family first and then the mom and dad with their newborn baby boy, parents individually and lastly, their 2 year old sister with her baby brother.

Then I moved on to photograph her newborn son to pose on the blanket. The blanket was cream and he wore a sage romper with pockets. He was able to stay asleep for the majority of his poses and he was photographed beautifully.

After photographing him on the blanket, I photographed him in a round bowl and in a moon shaped bowl (those two props are the most requested for boys).

Noah's Newborn Photo Shoot

Noah had his newborn session scheduled at around 1 months old and he did amazingly. I chose alot of neutral colors (warm tans and medium blues) to stylize his photo shoot. Even though those colors are pretty basic, they compliment every skin tone and can be paired with any type of prop.

I first photographed Noah’s mom and grandmother and they were ESTATIC! You can see it on their parent poses. When his mother said that he smiles for every picture, I didn’t realize that he actually smiles the whole time. It was beautiful.

Then I photographed Noah in props and he looked soo angelic. I love using bonnets and wraps because they keep the babies content while maintaining that classic look to their images.

After props, I photographed Noah for his blanket pose and even though he was slightly awake, the eye contact and his smiles were soo precious.

Even though newborn sessions are traditionally photographed between when babies are between 5-14 days old, photographing babies when they’ve gotten at 1 months old is such an amazing experience and love the types of pictures that I can capture at that age.

Twin Newborn Sessions

I was soo excited when Ava’s and Adam’s mom reserved her twin’s newborn session with me in Staten Island. The colors that she chose were neutrals which were perfect with what I had.

On the day of their photo shoot, we started first on props. I utilized my flokati rug, heart bowl, cradle bed and twin bowl. They were photographed by themselves and together. When they were posed together, that is all that they wanted in life - to be together.

Then I photographed the family poses and ended with blanket pose of the twins.

A Beautiful Family

I was soo excited when Kanwal chose me to photograph her newborn baby girl and her family. During the family photo shoot, they had different outfits showing reflecting how happy they were about her arrival. They chose different tshirts showing how proud they were to be their parent and big sister and you could tell that they are soo happy.

When it was time to photograph the baby for her session, I chose to use my classic white flokati rug, a heart bowl and a basic wood bed while I wrapped and swaddled her for her to sleep soundly.

I had soo much fun during the photoshoot and meeting Kanwal and her beautiful family.

Charlotte's Newborn Photo Shoot

I’m soo honored when my clients entrust me with both of their Maternity and Newborn sessions. Christine booked both her Maternity and Newborn photo shoot with me and I was soo excited when she emailed me letting me know when her little one would be coming home from the hospital. I was able to schedule her quickly, looking forward to meeting the new addition to their family.

The colors that mom chose for Charlotte’s photos were pink and dusty rose so I worked with those colors to provide a soft feel for her newborn collection. During her session, she was at first wide awake, taking in the new environment. But she eventually fell asleep and did amazing for her photo shoot.

A Newborn shoot in December

I am honored when my maternity clients entrust me to capture their baby’s newborn photos. It was great seeing everyone again and meeting their little one for the first time. She was beautiful for her newborn photos and everybody looked amazing for their Parent shots.
