A Beautiful Family

I was soo excited when Kanwal chose me to photograph her newborn baby girl and her family. During the family photo shoot, they had different outfits showing reflecting how happy they were about her arrival. They chose different tshirts showing how proud they were to be their parent and big sister and you could tell that they are soo happy.

When it was time to photograph the baby for her session, I chose to use my classic white flokati rug, a heart bowl and a basic wood bed while I wrapped and swaddled her for her to sleep soundly.

I had soo much fun during the photoshoot and meeting Kanwal and her beautiful family.

Navaeh's Newborn Photo Shoot in Staten Island, NY

All of my clients have been traveling to me to entrust me with their newborn photos. I’m soo honored and humbling to hear that they’ve traveled 30 minutes to have their babies photographed by me.

When Navaeh’s mother texted me saying that she was born, I couldn’t wait to schedule them in for their photo shoot. The colors that were chosen for Navaeh were peach, purple and white and my goal was to incorporate all of those colors for her session. As you can see in her photos, she photographed beautifully for all of those colors. And I was soo excited to accessorize her session with different headbands, bonnets and wraps.

In addition, her mother has brought in all of these props that I was able to incorporate and I’m soo happy that I was able to capture Navaeh in a few outfits that were knitted by her aunt.

an At-Home Christmas Family Shoot

This past Christmas, I was asked to photograph Mariella’s family for their Christmas Family Portraits. I was excited to meet her immediate and extended family. Below are a few of their pictures from their session.

Christmas Mini Session 2020

I am truly grateful that my clients come back to me to photograph their Christmas photos. It was soo much fun catching up with them and seeing how much the kids have grown. This year, my clients decided to do their session in their PJ’s and it was soo much fun!

Stella's Cake Smash

I had such a great time photographing Stella’s cake smash. Her family chose a rainbow and clouds backdrop and I was added clouds and lights as props to enhance the backdrop’s details. I first took portraits of Stella and her older sister and then we introduced the cake for Stella to smash. Even though she didn’t smash the cake, she was able to enjoy the flavor and her sister had a few bites.

Year in Review

2019 was such an amazing year for me. From photographing newborns, headshots and families, it was a busy year and I had a great time catching up my returning clients and meeting new clients as well. Happy New Year!!
